The best Sushi I had ever had! Best service and food is always fresh. My 9 and 18 children love the rest. Great atmosphere! We love sitting by the bar and enjoy the sushi chefs stories and attention.

Went here with my friend was so surprised the sushi is absolutely amazing. The sushi is so fresh and in such creative combos. I love Tamayas I try to go at least once a month for my sushi fix.

I must say, myself who has worked in a sushi bar before. This place is awesome and the happy hours are GREAT! I'm distant from down town but I would still certainly drive to eat here. Every roll is freshly made and server are what makes the place a better place. Thank you for an awesome first-time experience.

5 Star Sushi My wife and I used to live 2 blocks from this restaurant and ate there all the time. We've been in Portland OR for the last 5 years and haven't found your equal. Oregonians don't know what they're missing. Open a sister up north. :)

Was at the J Street location for lunch today, food fabulous but I couldn't help but notice that our server had long hair and did not have it tied back. She was in and out of the kitchen and carrying food and there her hair hung directly over people's plates -- was not very appetizing to see someone's hair over food. I never see people in food service with their hair down. It should be policy that the food servers tie their hair back. Made me wonder what the kitchen staff looked like. I would go back but if I do and a server's hair is down, I will walk out and go somewhere else. If we hadn't already been seated and served a beverage I would have left if I knew she was going to be serving us.
